So select the direction changer, please consider the following information:
1. Inverter parameters:
3000W inverter, continuous operating power is 1500 W, starting power (peak power) is 3000 W.
4000W inverter, continuous operating power is 2000 W, start功率(峰值功率)4000W.
5000W inverter, continuous operating power is 2500 W, start功率(峰值功率)为5000 W。
6000W inverter, continuous operating power is 3000 W, starting power (peak power) 6000W.
8000W inverter, continuous operating power is 4000 W, starting power (peak power) is 8000 W.
2. Select the appropriate inverter based on the startup power (peak power) of your devices.
The required startup power of the devices should be lower than the peak power of the inverter to meet the usage conditions.
If you purchase a 3000-W converter, it can supply devices with a continuous power of up to 1500 W, such as computers, TVs, fans, and resistive devices.
Some induction load devices have a starting power of 3-12 times their continuous power. Even if the continuous power requirement is met, the starting power must also be provided to drive the device.
Let's explain with an example:
If you use a Noeifevo 12V 100AH battery, can you use a 3000-W inverter and a 500-W power supply?
1) First, determine whether the 12-V-100AH battery can support the maximum power of the device:The BMS of the 12V 100AH battery has a capacity of 100A, which supports a continuous discharge current of 100A. This can support a maximum power of 12V * 100A = 1200W, which is greater than 500W.
2) Determine whether the device is resistive or inductive:The power drill is an inductive device. (You should verify whether the device is resistive or inductive with your supplier so that the starting torque can be confirmed.)
3) Verify that the continuous power requirement is met:The continuous power of the voltage cutoff is 500 W and the continuous power of the 3000-W inverter is 1500 W, which is more than 500 W.
4) Verify that the starting torque is met:The startup power of the circuit breaker is about three times its continuous power (varies with different brands). 1500W. Therefore, the 500-W power drill can be used with the Noeifevo 12V 100AH battery and the 3000W inverter.
Note: This method can also be applied to other devices. If you encounter problems or are unsure about the operation, you can consult customer service. Thanks a lot!
So choose the correct battery for the inverter:
Operating time = u (voltage specified) × I (battery capacity) × 0.8 × 0.9 ÷ current
Example: 12 V 100AH battery with a 220 V 100W bulb
Operational time = 12 V x 100 Ah x 0,8 x 0,9 ÷ 100 W = 7.68 hours
WARNING: 0.8 is the battery discharge coefficient (constant) and 0.9 the inverter conversion efficiency (constant). This is a rough calculation and should be taken as a reference. Actual usage may vary; please rely on actual conditions.
